Remember when “diversification” was a financial aspiration? Geographic and asset class variety was sexy, savvy, and discerning. Not some criminal practice or “woke” investment agenda. In real estate, equity infuses your economic livelihood. I smile and rub my stomach when my home equity increases each month. But my news tells me that equity must be stopped–it’s dangerous.
